Humility is something we need more of in the world today. Humility is personal. It’s recognizing and acknowledging our own pride and ego first. Looking ourselves in the mirror and asking where in our lives pride and ego lead. Where have they become the drivers in our life, overall or just in certain areas? What falsehoods do we project or lead with? What masks or fake personas do we put on for others? What lies do we tell ourselves and others to make us feel or appear to be stronger, smarter or more capable than someone else? How do we project our fears and insecurities onto people or at people? These are all the trappings and outward projections of pride and ego that are the opposite of humility.
