About Me

My Story

"To love is to will the good of the other." (Saint Thomas Aquinas)

I am an evolving being that wants to share my light into this world hoping that it inspires you to share your light, too!

I know that I am a child of God and my faith has been the one constant in my life. I believe in the power or prayer and that our collective goodwill can move mountains. If you don’t believe in God, or call it by another name, you are welcome here, too. If your heart and mind are open to growing, learning and evolving, I'm grateful to walk alongside you on this journey of life. Just know that I will reference God, my faith and His word on this site, in my writings and any offerings.

"Rejoice in hope, be patient in suffering, persevere in prayer" (Romans 12:12)

I grew up in the Midwest, on a dairy farm in Iowa. I was adopted as an infant and had a wonderful childhood with loving family and friends, and a farm to use my budding imagination. In 3rd grade, the house that my great-great grandfather built burned down. It changed the whole trajectory of my life and my family’s life. 8 months later, we moved to the suburbs of Dallas where I’ve spent over 30 years of my life. I’ve worked in the IT industry as a marketing professional for over 30 years and am now evolving into a more aligned career path as I enter the second half of my life. There is a lot of uncertainty and the future is unknown. It’s been scary at times, but overall, it’s been exciting to shape and create what I hope my future will become with more intentionality, creativity and passion. I have numerous interests in my life, such as health and wellness, arts and crafts, sports, traveling, behavioral psychology, organizational management/psychology, food, nutrition, and so many other things. I enjoy learning new things and try to stay curious.

My prayer for myself and others is to continue to learn, grow, evolve and expand through love and kindness, respect and understanding, and grace and compassion throughout our life's journey. That’s the becoming process for each one of us and each one of us is unique and different. That’s the beauty that we can and should share with one another. I hope we can do some of that here.

"For I know the plans I have for you, " declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." (Jeremiah 29:11)
